Conference Registration

How can I register?

1. Follow this link: https://www.pvsec-34.com/account_create/

2. Login with your e-mail address and password to access your personal user profile.

3. Proceed to Conference registration.

4. The online registration process is completed with the receipt of your online registration form.

5. Your invoice and invitation letter will also be available in your user profile for download, within one month after payment.

Conference Registration Fees and Categories

Regular

1. Access to all plenary sessions, oral sessions and posters of the PVSEC-34 Conference Programme.

2. Access to all PVSEC-34 Parallel Events.

3. Access to technical tours (limited seats, registration not yet open, will be notified via email after opening).

4. Invitation to all Coffee Breaks.

5. Conference Lunch (6-9 November 2023).

6. Conference Proceedings of the PVSEC-34.

7. Free WIFI on-site.

Students

To qualify for the reduced student fee, it is obliged to upload one of the following original documents during the payment process:

(a) Original and valid student I.D. card indicating the date of validity. The ID must be valid at least until the last day of the conference.

or

(b) An original, personalized letter signed by the head of the relevant university or institutional department providing the full-time student status until the last day of the conference.

The organizer will not be able to audit student payment results without one of those documents. In order not to affect the participation, please upload one of those documents in time. The audit results will be sent by email after validating the student documents.

The student fee is also applicable for PhD students. Full time students only, maximum age 35.

If the payment status remains unchanged for more than a week, please contact us (cres-pv@mail.iee.ac.cn).

The student registration includes:

1. Access to all plenary sessions, oral sessions and posters of the PVSEC-34 Conference Programme.

2. Access to all PVSEC-34 Parallel Events.

Group Booking Discount

Send 5 or more delegates from your organization to participate in the PVSEC-34 and save up to 20% from the Regular Conference registration fee.

Please note that group discounts, CRES member discounts, early bird fees, and student fees cannot be combined.

Banquet

1. The PVSEC-34 banquet will be held on Tuesday evening, 7 November 2023.

2. The PVSEC-34 banquet can be booked optionally in every registration category.

3. You can book one banquet ticket per bought conference ticket.

4. The banquet tickets will be handed out at the registration desk on-site.

5. Kindly note that lost or not redeemed banquet tickets cannot be reimbursed.

6. Banquet tickets are limited.

Conference Lunch

A conference lunch is included in the conference tickets from Monday to Thursday, 6-9 November 2023.

PVSEC-34 Proceedings

1. The PVSEC-34 Proceedings contain all abstracts of scientific papers submitted and accepted on PVSEC-34.

2. They constitute a comprehensive source of state-of-the-art information and vital point of reference for researchers, technologists, decision-makers, entrepreneurs and all involved in the global PV sector.

3. Conference participants will have free access to the PVSEC-34 Proceedings right one month after the conference.

4. The PVSEC-34 Proceedings are available in the download area.

General Registration Conditions

1. To complete the registration process, the receipt of the online registration is imperative.

2. Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment.

3. After successful registration and payment, you will have direct access to your invoice and invitation letter in the user area.

Payment Conditions

1. Payments must be settled in RMB or USD.

2. Payment in any other currency will not be accepted.

3. To benefit from the lower registration fees, all payments must be received by the relevant deadline 20 September 2023 for Early Bird prices.

4. Discounts granted for early registration will expire if you miss your payment goal.

5. Admittance to the Conference without payment of the registration fee cannot be granted.

Payment Options

Bank Transfer

1. Bank charges are at the expenses of the participant and must be paid at source in addition to registration fees.

2. Please register on the official website and submit the order before transferring.

3. Please indicate "last six digits of the order number and the PVSEC-34" while transferring.

4. Cheques are not accepted.

5. We strongly recommend not using the bank transfer option later than 20 October 2023, especially for bank transfers from other countries than China (bank transfer might not arrive by time prior to the event).

Badges

1. Upon arrival at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, please proceed to the registration area to receive your badge and conference material.

2. Student registrants must show their original student I.D. card, indicating the date of validity, or a personalized letter signed by the head of the institutional department (see page 3 for more information). The student must be an enrolled student until the last day of the conference.

3. Your personalized badge authorizes you to visit all PVSEC-34 Conference Sessions and PVSEC-34 Parallel Events.

4. Badges shall be worn visibly at all times at the venue.

5. Badges are not transferable to another person. In case of any exchanges of badges the participant will be excluded from the conference.

6. We ask for your understanding that your personalized admission may be controlled by our staff.

7. Kindly note, that lost badges cannot be replaced.

Cancellation Conditions

1.Any cancellation of registration must be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat by e-mail to cres-pv@mail.iee.ac.cn.

2. For cancellations received by 5 November 2023, 100% refund of registration fee. (Please note that we will charge $50 processing fee for the administrative expense)

3. From 6 November 2023: no reimbursement.

4. All refunds will be processed after the Conference.

5. All bank service charges will be deducted from the refundable amount.

6. Requests for reimbursement must be sent in writing.

Invitation Letter for Visa Application

1. Conference Delegates must be accepted and confirmed authors of the upcoming PVSEC-34 or must have registered and paid the required registration fees, before requesting an official letter of invitation for visa purposes.

2. We strongly recommend requesting your invitation letter directly after receipt of notification of paper acceptance, or earlier, in order to apply for your visa in time for the Conference.

3. The personalized invitation letter with signature will be available in your user profile in the user area for direct download.

4. Please note that the organizer will not be able to contact or intervene with Embassies or Consulate offices on behalf of a Conference delegate.
